It gives me immense pleasure in sharing the news of the visit of His Excellency, Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam, the President of India, to our hospital, Aditya Jyot Eye Hospital Pvt. Ltd on 9th Jan 2005. It was indeed an honor to have him amongst us and interact with him. The President took a tour of our hospital and appreciated the state-of-the-art facilities available here. He was kind enough to spare his valuable time and stressed on the need for far reached ophthalmic services to attain the goal of Vision 2020. The President also lauded our efforts in trying to restore the vision of a boy from Gujarat whose eyes were badly damaged. He showed keen interest in stem cell research and eye donation and appealed to our doctors to work towards it.
